It is with immense pleasure that I welcome you to the Bangalore School of Design. The need for good design, be it in spaces, products or lifestyle, is an inherent part of the human race. This leads to a huge demand and growth potential in this field. The Bangalore School of Design has been established with a mission to nurture talents in the field of design and help students meet the challenges in the industry. We seek to cultivate a design community that is adept, influential and confident and we strive to empower our students to work at the apex of their abilities.
The Bangalore School of Design endeavors to be the most compelling, relevant and open place to learn about design. Established in 2016, it set a precedent as the first institute in the city to have practicing architects and designers spearheading the institute and incorporating the ‘beyond curriculum’ idea into the syllabus.
Our team of young, enthusiastic as well as senior, experienced architects and designers are constantly exploring relevant topics such as sustainability, new technology and materials, historic preservation and international trends. Our students are encouraged to participate in national level design competitions and have returned with laurels. Our management, faculty and students together work as a team to host Mozaic, our annual design fest.
We advocate for the relevance of design in the midst of a powerful and ever changing world. We believe that design can improve lives.
I invite you to visit us and share in the excitement we have about our future. Join us as we build tomorrow.
