1. What kind of courses do you offer?

2. What classes should I take if I’m unsure if interior design is right for me?

A Great place to start if you want to find out if interior design is for you is our Interior Design Masterclass Program offered at Bangalore School of Design. This course gives a broad overview of Interior Design.

3. When is the application Deadline?

BSD admits students on a rolling basis. This means that we continue to review complete applications as long as space remains available in the program. We do have the recommended deadlines for degree courses and diploma courses respectively. To be considered for institutional scholarships, applicants must have their portfolios submitted by the recommended deadline.

4. Do I need a Portfolio to apply?

A creative portfolio is required to apply for a scholarship admission.

5. What should I include in my Portfolio?

If you’re applying for a scholarship your portfolio should include 10-15 pieces of fine art work. We want to see work that you’ve done with your hands – drawing, painting, sculpture etc. We are looking for good use of colour, proportion and perspective.

6. Do BSD help with internships?

Yes, students are welcome to utilize our career services office for help with finding an internship. Paid as well as unpaid internships are offer to the students of Bangalore school of design.

7. Does college encourage students to participate in co-curricular activities?

Yes, definitely. We host our own annual design fest and we have colleges across Bangalore coming and joining us. Beyond this we participate in all design fest that happen across Bangalore. We also have indoor sports activities, cultural programs, Spectrum week and Ethic Day conducted annually. BSD understands a lot of learning can happen outside the classroom.

8. What is the admission process at BSD?

The student has to fill the application form online for the particular course (UG or Diploma course) which he chooses to pursue by paying the application fees online. Once the application form is submitted. BSD will be sending you the conditional offer letter to the students if found eligible to do that particular course. Once you pay the admission fee you will be given a receipt along with the offer letter. With this your admission at Bangalore School of Design will be confirmed.

9. What are the admission criteria? Is it based on some national level entrance test or do you conduct your own entrance test?

There is no entrance test.  Admission is based on the qualifying examination marks.  Candidates who have qualified the national level entrance test are given preference for sure.

10. Are there accommodation facilities available for boys & girls at Bangalore School of Design.
