Bangalore School of Design recognizes and extends support to students that showcase excellence in Academic and Creativity.

All undergraduate applicants (including international students) are considered for a post admission scholarship on the basis of academic merit and/or creative ability. Students with high merit and exceptional talent in the field of design can fill out a separate application. The Office of Admissions will evaluate the application upon admittance and communicate the scholarship applicability.

Scholarship Guidelines

Do I qualify for a Scholarship?
Upon completion of the Admission process and securing an Offer Letter from Bangalore School of Design, the students with exceptional talent in Academic or Creativity are eligible.
Please be aware that successful scholarship holders will be expected to:
  • Successfully meet all remaining conditions for entry to their chosen course.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and complete all work during their course.

  • BA in Journalism + Design
  • BVA Interior and Spatial Design
  • Dual Bachelors in Interior Architecture
  • BVA in Graphic Design
  • International Professional Diploma in Interior Design

Maximum Scholarship Value: Upto Rs. 50,000/- for UG courses
Maximum Scholarship Value: Upto Rs. 25,000/- for Diploma courses Eligibility: The Students are awarded their scholarship based on the following categories: Academic Merit – 80% and Above in their Latest Education Qualification OR Creative Talent – Submit a Creative Portfolio across any field of Arts, Design, Music, etc. What is the process of applying for a scholarship? The Scholarship applicants can submit the following documents at Offer Letter
  • Academic Transcripts or Creative Portfolio
  • Personal Statement
An Offer Letter will be provided by the Admissions Office upon reviewing your application and receipt of Registration Fee. Your application will then be reviewed by a scholarship panel, and successful students will be notified via the email address provided on their application form. A Personal Statement explaining why you want to study with BANGALORE SCHOOL OF DESIGN, and our Affiliation with Bangalore University, and Academic Partner in France, how the programme will help you in the future, and why you should receive the scholarship. All personal statements must be written in English and be no longer than 200 words. A Creative Portfolio is an organised collection of creative work showcasing your creativity, your practical abilities and/or your design-thinking skills. The creative portfolio may be presented in different formats: A printed portfolio, Online portfolio, Showreel, etc. Limited seats available for Scholarships : 20 seats for UG courses
